About the Program

Although it may be an unusual way to begin, I will begin with saying I am sincerely sorry. I am sorry that something in your life has brought you grief that has left you looking for hope, help and healing. It happens to everyone at some point and time. I am sorry that it’s your turn.

However, I am glad that you have taken this step in looking for help and hope; and with those, healing does come. I, too, have had loss and grief in my life. I, too, wanted help and healing. I read all the books, went to counseling, participated in grief classes and talked with countless others and over a period of years, I did work my way through that steep and deep horrible canyon of grief. Much of what I discovered on my journey that helped me to heal was already out there in an organized, well-planned action program that I just wasn’t aware existed, The Grief Recovery Method® .

Before I go further, I want to be clear that I am a Christian whose faith was vital in surviving my period of grief. My faith leads me to believe I will see my loved ones again someday. But until that day comes, what about the here and now? How does one learn to live again and regain a sense of joy in living and even for some, a desire to live? Much of it comes from saying “Good-bye” to the painful emotions inside that most of us don’t know what to do with.

I do believe the The Grief Recovery Method® is the best solution out there today. You’ve made it this far; please click on the Grief Recovery link to learn more about this wonderful action program that will assist you in your recovery from grief.

The Grief Recovery Method Outreach Program consists of seven weekly sessions running approximately 1/2-2 hours.
